White Noise

Do the dishes, brush my teeth, turn out the lights, charge my phone, and start my white noise tracks. My nightly ritual before bed, shadowed in sound. Rain storms, thunder, river flowing, the hum of a fan blowing, even the sounds of airplanes flying overhead. Those are the sounds that muffle out the war of noise in my head. Tinnitus thought it is not a serious condition in anyway, it is very annoying and distracting. My tinnitus is caused directly from the destruction of my ear drums due to my Cholesteatoma, and years of loud sounds parading into my ears.
A loud high pitch sound just ringing in the back of my head. The more I focus on it, the louder and louder it gets. I can be sitting on my couch playing video games or I could be in bed watching Netflix, and eventually I'll hear that little sound playing in my ears. I suppose it isn't that bad. It could always be worse. I've read stories of people who vomit from the sounds, or have had their license revoked due to multiple crashes because of the distracting sound. So maybe I should count my blessings and be thankful for the condition only being mild.

For anyone reading this that would like to listen to the same white noise I do, I have included a couple samples on the right side of my blog page.
